One April 14th, 2023, we offered a virtual Introduction to Cooperatives 101 workshop. In the workshop, PACA Co-op Developer, Amethyst Carey, led us through the values of cooperatives, their history, their models, and their aims for shared and sustainable ownership, democratic control, and benefits for community wealth-building, particularly for historically and currently oppressed communities. Participants came with their questions at the ready and fruitful conversation resulted. We hope you enjoy and learn much from this session on why cooperatives are pretty rad.
