You can help build the cooperative movement in Philadelphia.
We are a growing organization and we’re looking for your skills and energy.
Here are some ways you can get involved:
Get your co-op involved
PACA is a network of co-ops and allies. Is your co-op considering becoming a member? Learn more about our current members and the benefits of membership.
Invite PACA to your co-op or event
Invite us to do a workshop for your co-op, community/economic development organization, nonprofit, or other group. Email info@philadelphia.coop to start the conversation.
Raise awareness about the cooperative model
The next time you hear someone say “a co-op? I don’t think I can eat all of those vegetables every week,” take a moment to explain. A co-op is a business that is owned and democratically controlled by its members.
Cooperatives are rooted in our community – since they’re owned by their members, they won’t get sold or pack up and move away. The cooperative model puts common good before private gain.
Donate to help PACA grow
We want to make Philly area co-ops grow and thrive…but we need your help. We are fiscally sponsored by Resources for Human Development and your contribution is 100% tax deductible. You can donate securely online or contact info@philadelphia.coop to find out more.
Start your own co-op
Together, you build it. You control it. You benefit from it. You own it. We’re here to help you get started. As we grow as an organization, we will become more able to provide technical assistance, consulting, and opportunities for networking with existing co-ops. Check out some of our resources and then get in touch.
