Give support to our local immigrant artisans and craft makers! Start-up Philly co-op, the Global Craft Market, is growing their community and would love YOUR help. 

The Global Craft Market is a collective of passionate artisans and entrepreneurs dedicated to sharing the beauty and wealth of global craft traditions. They are the only artisan cooperative in Philadelphia, and maintain strong connections with cooperatives and associations in artists’ home countries. The co-op empowers artisans through a commitment to fair wages and a recognition of the brilliant human hands and minds behind excellent craftsmanship. 

For the past six years, they’ve shared art and built community at local markets, pop-ups, and events. But now, the Global Craft Market is moving into a physical space for the first time! (Look for them at The BOK Building!) This new space will be more than just a shop; it will be a meeting place of cultures, a ground for thriving traditions, and a community hub of collaboration and learning. 

To successfully make this huge new step, they need your support. The Global Craft Market is asking for donations to help fund supplies (shelving units, signage, packing materials, etc),  accounting services, and software for their new business. Let’s make this happen together!
