Businesses do not have to be lost when owners seek retirement; nor does the character and heart of a business need to face ruin due to being sold to a company who doesn’t understand what was built. The business can be sold to the workers. And there are strong arguments for why this is your best strategy for the business you built, for the workers you care about, and for the community your business exists within).
